North Estonia Medical Centre

Counter furniture, composite Palazzo Interiors

For the Medical Centre Palazzo was ordered to put it new client areas and nurses stations. For the client areas, we used composite materials. The same materials were used for the outer edges of the indoor pool.

Solution

The interior design architect approved our choice of materials as well as he had already used them in other areas of the hospital.

Composite is waterproof, easy to clean and very flexible in terms of using it in different places. It makes for a great option in hospitals and labs as well as workstations for clients and nurses.

For the nurses’ stations and client areas that were both designed in various shapes and sizes the composite was an excellent choice. However, the different shapes and round-cornered composite materials proved a little uncomfortable for the contractors and fitting team, it took some effort to make sure it was done correctly.

As always, it was a joy to see how combining different materials and solutions can bring an idea to life!
